Ryan Fitzpatrick has signed a 1-year deal with the Washington Football Team. Washington Football was in need of a new signal caller, and went aggressively after the savvy veteran and NFL journeyman.
Fitzpatrick’s one year deal with Football Team is for $10M, according to the NFL Network. Fitzpatrick is known for being a man of many teams, as he has played for nearly one third of all the league’s franchises.

Washington will be the ninth team Fitzpatrick has played for. He last played for the Miami Dolphins in 2020, throwing for 2,091 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is the only player in NFL history to throw a touchdown pass with eight teams.
Fitzpatrick played college football at Harvard where he was the school’s first quarterback to rush for over 1,000 yards in a career. He was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft, where he spent two seasons.
