Things may be coming to a head for JJ Watt, as this morning reports indicate that he has received contract offers from multiple teams. ESPN’s Dianna Russini was the first to report the story.
It is believed that the largest offer Watt currently has on the table is worth somewhere between $15 million and $16 million. The five-time Pro Bowler was expected to command quite a slew of offers.

It also appears that his choices are known by insiders and sources close to his dealings. A few teams have been narrowed down and become the subject of multiple high traffic reports.
The Browns are among the teams interested in Watt, according to ESPN. It was not clear at the time of this being published whether Cleveland has submitted an offer to Watt.

The Texans released Watt earlier this month, ending the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year’s decade-long run in Houston. He was beloved by fans of the franchise.
John Clayton’s report has been spread throughout the sports world, as CBS shared his latest updated with this graphic, speculating where the star defensive end would end up.

Watt has had quite a bit of fun with the speculation and all of the attention. His tweet on February 23rd led to all kinds of speculation as to what he could be hinting at or mean by the phrase.
Around a dozen different teams — including the Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills — have reportedly expressed interest in signing Watt.

31-year-old Watt, who turns 32 next month, finished last season with five sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception that he returned for a touchdown. He ended his Texans career as the franchise’s all-time leader with 101 career sacks.
The front-runners to sign Watt are the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans. I still wouldn’t be surprised to see him go to Cleveland or to Pittsburgh either.
