The Detroit Tigers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 10-2 on Sunday afternoon at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. It was their first game with fans in attendance since the global pandemic shut down baseball last March.

Detroit scored six runs in a first inning that featured Castro’s leadoff home run followed by three singles and five walks. Daniel Pinero and Eric Haase added solo home runs. The game was only seven innings, as planned. The game lasted 2 hours and 48 minutes.
