The Wichita Thunder pulled off an incredible comeback as Patrik Parkkonen scored the game winner. The Thunder then scored three goals in the final seven minutes of regulation. They had been trailing 4-1.
The Thunder were able to score tying goal with 38 seconds remaining to send the contest into overtime. Wichita put together the game-winning score with 21 seconds left in the overtime period.
