The Philadelphia Eagles have risen 6-0 on the season after defeating the Dallas Cowboys on primetime Sunday Night. In what was a tight contest, Philly hung on to win, 26-17.

The Eagles jumped out to a 20-0 lead. The offense scored on four of their first five drives. It looked like they had things handled, as the defense came up with two turnovers. Both interceptions. The first by C.J. Gardner-Johnson and the second by Darius Slay.

Dallas was able to drive down and chip up three points towards the end of the first half. That score opened the door to a run by the Cowboys, and Dallas quickly made it a three-point game.

The Eagles strung together another touchdown drive in the final quarter to extend the lead back to two possessions. C.J. Gardner-Johnson also came up with another turnover, which put Philly fully into the drivers seat.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts competed 15 of 25 passes for 155 yards with two touchdown passes. He threw one to A.J. Brown and the other to DeVonta Smith. RB Miles Sanders rushed for 71 yards and scored a touchdown.

Cowboys QB Cooper Rush completed 18 of 38 passes for 181 yards and one touchdown in addition to throwing three interceptions. RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 81 yards and scored a touchdown.
