(MWSN) — The Reinhardt University Eagles (2-4, 0-1 AAC) will look to snap a two-game losing streak when they face off against the Point University Skyhawks (1-5, 1-0 AAC) on Saturday, October 12 at 12:00 p.m. in Waleska, Ga. The Eagles are eager to secure their first conference victory of the season after falling to Pikeville last week, 47-21.
Reinhardt has leaned on its ground game this season, averaging 152.7 rushing yards per game. Junior running back Jerdavian “Jah” Colbert leads the charge with 292 rushing yards and a 6.1 yards-per-carry average. Quarterback Taylor Jackson III has thrown for 549 yards and five touchdowns, but the Eagles will need to improve their passing efficiency to find success against a Skyhawks defense allowing 161.7 passing yards per game.
