The Adrian College men’s basketball team released its 2020-21 schedule. The Bulldogs will open competition at home on Saturday, November 7 at 4:00 PM. The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) is still finalizing the conference schedule.
Adrian opens their season with a nonconference game against Manchester. After a two week break, the Bulldogs will travel to Bluffton University for their first road game of the season.
The Bulldogs will go on to face crosstown rival Siena Heights to compete for the Milk Jug. The Bulldogs currently hold onto the trophy after an 86-85 overtime win at Siena Heights during the 2019-20 season.
During the first week of December, Adrian will travel to Defiance College for a round robin tournament against Defiance and Mount St. Joseph.
The Bulldogs look to make a second consecutive appearance to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Adrian received in automatic bid to the national tournament last season after defeating Trine University in the MIAA Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs went on to lose to North Central College in the first round of the tournament.
The MIAA will not have any conference games until 2021, but are still looking to finalize a conference schedule for this season.
