The Adrian College men’s basketball team earned its first win of the season, taking down Manchester University on the road Saturday evening.  The Bulldogs never trailed, opening a quick 5-0 lead to start the game behind a Robert Warrick three and a Jeremy Kalonjili layup.

They excelled behind balanced scoring, owning a 10 points or more lead through a majority of the contest, surpassing the 10-point mark of a trio of Jordan Harris free throws, followed by a Harris layup to make it 25-10. Adrian opened up its lead in the second half, after kicking it off with a 45-26 lead.

Jeremy Kalonji led the offensive efforts, posting 22 points while going 9-for-13 from the field. Kalonji also went up for four rebounds. A great night for Robert Warrick as he was second the team in scoring with 18 points, 8-10 from the field. He was strong in other facets, grabbing four rebounds while also adding two assists, two steals and one block. Jordan Harris was perfect at the charity stripe, going 7-for-7.
