CORBIN, Ky. | NSBNsports.com | August 11, 2026 — Truett McConnell received 11 first-place votes to lead the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference women’s soccer preseason coaches poll released Tuesday.
The Lady Bears earned 180 voting points after winning or sharing each of the past four AAC regular-season championships. Truett McConnell has also captured three of the past four conference tournament titles.
Defending tournament champion Tennessee Wesleyan received the remaining two first-place votes and finished second with 170 points. Milligan followed with 141 points, Columbia International with 134 and Reinhardt with 130.

The top eight teams will advance to the AAC Tournament, which begins Nov. 3. The championship match is scheduled for Nov. 11.
