Spring Arbor University junior Kyara Black has been named the Crossroads League Volleyball Defender of the Week. Black recorded a league-best five blocks against Huntington University to help lead the Cougars to a season-opening victory over the Foresters.
The Danville, Indiana native also registered eight kills and three digs in the match. Spring Arbor travels to Mishawaka, Indiana to take on Bethel on Saturday at 3pm.
