The 2020 NFL Draft can quite obviously no longer be held in the city of Las Vegas. It was an unprecedented and exciting event, but now will be unprecedented for a whole new set of reasons.
It was announced late last month that the draft would still take place in Vegas, but be done without fans in attendance. With the virus spreading and the death count rising, according to Adam Schefter, the league is preparing for a virtual draft that will take place remotely.
High-level officials from multiple NFL teams are now preparing to do the April 23-25 draft virtually, from home, away from their team facilities, league sources tell ESPN. Awaiting final decision from NFL on an unprecedented draft.
