New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has arrived in Boston. The franchise is just a week away from the start of training camp. The longtime Carolina Panthers star flew into Boston Logan International Airport, where he was met by a camera crew from WHDH-TV.
The Patriots signed Newton to a one-year deal on July 8th. He was released by the Panthers in March. Newton is widely expected to take over as starting quarterback in New England. The team lost longtime franchise signal caller Tom Brady to Tampa Bay in free agency.

Newton was photographed and recorded following his landing a few times, as you can see above. He also posted a video Wednesday of a throwing session he had with Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman in Los Angeles.
Newton has also worked with Patriots wide receivers N’Keal Harry and Mohamed Sanu this off-season. The players met away from the team facility, as it was closed to players due to the COVID-19.
