The National Football League looks like they’re going to start trying to reach a younger audience. ESPN reported that the league will be broadcasting a re-run of a 2019 playoff game with a unique telecast on Nickelodeon.
The broadcast will be specifically tailored for a younger audience. Whether it’s slime or different graphics, it will be interesting to see how the league approaches this and what they do differently.
Tucked within the NFL announcement of two additional playoff games is that one of those games will be broadcast on CBS but also on Nickelodeon, with a separately produced telecast geared toward a younger audience.
