Fans of the Detroit Lions have found the burner account of former Head Coach Matt Patricia. The Detroit Lions ended the Matt Patrica era Saturday after a 41-25 defeat by the Houston Texans.
Detroit Lions fans and the franchise were excited for changes he was expected to make. Patricia was regarded as a defensive genius, and was anticipated to forever change the franchise for the better.
So I read a couple of the tweets, and I am now convinced that everyone is right and @EddyPLionsFan is actually just Matt Patricia's burner. I don't know if I should laugh or feel bad for him

One Twitter account has been receiving a ton of attention thanks to the reaction it has had to the firing of the unsuccessful coach. @EddyPLionsFan wasn’t happy to see Patricia’s time come to an end.
There are a few of the accounts tweets here in this article, but more importantly, responses to what the account is saying and has said. It’s absolutely hilarious.
I’m 100% convinced this is Matt Patricia’s burner.
The account didn’t tweet between September 4th and today. And look at the tweets and replies. All they follow are former/current Lions, former/current Pats, and Barstool. Oh, and Matt Patricia’s middle name is Edward lmao https://t.co/YduKDzYLWK

The name is Eddie on the account. Patricia’s full name is Matthew Edward. Could EddieP actually just mean Eddie Patricia? It seems like quite the coincidence. The account also was just created days ago.
A majority of the names on the following list are New England Patriots players. Patricia was the defensive coordinator for the historical franchise before coming to Detroit.
This 100% Matt Patricia’s burner account

With a final record of 13-29-1, Patrica suffered more losses in less time than former Lions coach Jim Caldwell. It’s probably time to move on, but we can all have a laugh at this account, whoever is running it.
