Former Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon elected to remain within the AFC West as he signed with the Denver Broncos.
The 26-year-old sat out the first few games of the 2019 season due to his unhappiness with his contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Gordon played in 12 games throughout the course of the 2019 season, rushing for 612 yards to go along with 42 receptions for 296 yards receiving and nine total touchdowns.

Gordon’s new contract is a two-year, $16 million deal. ESPN was first to report that he had signed. They also reported that his deal includes $13.5 million guaranteed.
