Baker Mayfield has announced that he will kneel during the National Anthem this upcoming season. The Cleveland Browns quarterback responded to a fan asking him to tell Browns fans that he won’t be joining others in kneeling.
Mayfield replied to the fan with “pull your head out. I absolutely am.” Mayfield joins Redskins RB Adrian Peterson, Texas head coach and GM Bill O’Brien and numerous others who have gone on record saying they will follow the protests Colin Kaepernick started in 2016 of peacefully protesting during the anthem before games.
