City of Adrian Asking for Help with Safe Neighborhoods Project

Hard News

The City of Adrian has requested the help of residents with the Adrian Safe Neighborhoods Project. “During the month of July, the Adrian Safe Neighborhoods Project needs your help!” wrote the City on Facebook.

The post continued, saying “personal safety in our neighborhoods and downtown is important to all of us. Did you know that the design of our streets, sidewalks, landscaping, lighting and much more can directly impact crime levels?”

The School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University and Michigan State University Extension is interested in studying residents’ perception of the quality of life in their neighborhood.

The link shared by the City leads to a survey put together by the School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University and Michigan State University Extension. Residents participation is optional.

“We estimate that this survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete,” it says on the webpage. “If you decide to participate, you are free to stop at any time. You may also skip questions you prefer not to answer.”

Here is the post from the City if you are interested in participating. For more information we recommend messaging the City on Facebook or visiting their website for proper contact information.
