ADRIAN, Mich. (MWSN) – The Adrian College men’s hockey team has unveiled its 2024-25 season schedule, promising another competitive year with a mix of non-conference and NCHA conference matchups. Following a successful 2023-24 campaign that saw the Bulldogs reach the National Semifinals, they are eager to vie for the NCHA Championship and an NCAA Tournament bid.
The Bulldogs’ season begins at home on October 26 with an exhibition game against the USA U18 NTDP. They will then host Utica University in an annual powerhouse clash during the first weekend of November. Subsequent non-conference games include away contests against SUNY Cortland and Oswego State in New York.
Adrian opens NCHA conference play at home on November 15-16 against Aurora University. The schedule includes road series at Lawrence University and MSOE, and home games against Marian University before the semester’s end.
A new highlight this season is a round-robin tournament at the Arrington Ice Arena. Adrian will face Aurora in a non-conference game on December 29, followed by a matchup against Bowdoin on December 31.
Kicking off the new year, Adrian will play Trine University in a non-conference game before resuming NCHA action against Lake Forest College and the University of Dubuque. A highly anticipated series against conference rival St. Norbert College will be held at the Arrington Ice Arena on January 31-February 1. The regular season concludes with an away series at Concordia Wisconsin and a home-and-home series with Trine.
The NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs commence on February 21-22 with the Quarterfinals, followed by the Semifinals on March 1 and the Harris Cup Finals on March 8. The NCAA Tournament begins with the First Round on March 15, the Quarterfinals on March 22, and the Frozen Four from March 27-29. This year, the highest remaining seed in the West Region will host the NCAA Division III Frozen Four.
Tickets for the 2024-25 season will be available for purchase at a later date.
