Joe Palka, the newly appointed head coach, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success as he takes over the program. The Bulldogs aim to improve on last season’s 1-9 record and make a strong impact in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

Adrian will open the season at home on September 7 against Elmhurst University, marking the beginning of an exciting slate of games. Fans can look forward to six home games this year, providing ample opportunities to support the team at Docking Stadium.

A notable home game will be under the lights on September 14 against Madonna University at 7:00 PM. The Bulldogs will then travel to Franklin College for their first road game on September 21 before returning home to host The University of Olivet on September 28 for Homecoming Weekend.

Family Weekend is scheduled for October 19, featuring a game against Calvin University in their inaugural football season. As the season progresses, Adrian will host Kalamazoo College at the start of November and conclude the regular season with Senior Day on November 16 against Alma College.

In addition to their home games, the Bulldogs will face tough competition on the road against Albion College, Hope College, and Trine University.

New Era Under Coach Joe Palka

Joe Palka, the 24th head coach in Adrian College football history, joins the Bulldogs with an impressive coaching resume. Previously, Palka led Saline High School to a 112-21 record, securing ten conference championships and multiple postseason victories. His leadership is expected to bring a fresh approach and heightened competitiveness to the team.

Prior to his success at Saline, Palka held coaching positions at Whitmer High School and Eastern Michigan University, further demonstrating his ability to develop winning programs and mentor young athletes.
