The Adrian College softball field is located on the north end of campus by the baseball field off of Route 223. Its most recent renovation happened in 2008 making it one of the best softball facilities in Division III. The renovation included new dugouts, press box, windscreens, and tarp. In addition to those renovations, the AC Softball field now has turf batting cages and turf bullpens available for home and visiting team’s use. Fans can now sit behind home plate in stadium style seating.
In addition to the new infield tarp, Adrian College had the infield resurfaced for smoother play. The new scoreboard shows inning-by-inning run totals as well as total runs, hits, and errors for both teams.
The new press box holds a new sound system to properly play music and to broadcast the PA announcer. The press box holds two booths that is spilt between the game day staff and Adrian College TV for live streaming.
