The Adrian College hockey team remained undefeated as they bested visiting Trine University over the weekend. The Bulldogs and the Thunder battled in the first period and kept both defenses strong. Une Bjelland broke the silence and went on to score to bring the score to 1-0. Emma Corbett and Annika Hanson recorded assists on the goal.
Adrian came out ready to go in the second period. Abbie Grias found the back of the net 13 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-0. Brooke Schembri collected the assist. Schembri went on to score a goal of her own ten minutes later on a pass from Grias to lead 3-0. After putting up just seven shots on goal in the first period, the Bulldogs tallied 15 shots on goal in the second period.

Adrian continued its offense in the third with two more goals. Jocelin Hudanish found the net on assists from Bjelland and Jessica Anderson. Late in the third period, Kaleigh Codorette scored on a power play on assists from Julia Barrett and Karmen Anderson to bering the score to 5-0.
Sophie Goldberg brings her record to 2-0 and record 13 save to shutout the Thunder.
