Despite a tough 54-41 defeat to Hart on Friday night, Stockbridge Panthers quarterback Jalen Rogozinski put up eye-popping numbers, entering the school record books in multiple categories. The high-scoring game took place at Olivet College and was part of a neutral non-conference matchup. The loss takes Stockbridge to a 1-3 overall record, whereas Hart remains undefeated at 4-0.
Rogozinski threw for an astounding 455 yards, the second-most in a single game in Stockbridge High School history. The record is held by Mason Gee-Montgomery, who passed for 476 yards in a 2015 game. In addition to his yardage, Rogozinski was 27-for-39 passing and threw six touchdowns. These achievements place him second in both categories behind Gee-Montgomery, who holds the school record with 30 completions and eight touchdown passes in a single game. With his performance on Friday night, Rogozinski will be added to the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) record book in all three categories: passing yards, completions, and touchdowns.
