Stockbridge High School is 1-0 on the season following a commanding win last Friday. The Panthers posted a 47-21 victory over Comstock at home inside of Boy Stadium.
Stockbridge scored first, after Riley Kennedy threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Pilch. Pilch beat the defensive back and was wide open in the end zone for the score.

The next big play came when Kevin Killinger forced a fumble. Stockbridge was up 22-7 in the 2nd quarter when Killinger made the big play to give the football back.
Signal caller Riley Kennedy struck again, this time tossing a 76-yard touchdown score to Jeremy Pilch. The defense may have lost Pilch, as he was completely uncovered as he took the pass to the house.

Up 28-7, Kennedy extended the lead even further. He threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to running back Drew Phillip. Phillip took the pass off of a screen and cut back inside of a pair of defenders near the goal line.
Holding a 21-point lead in the third quarter, Kennedy looked to wideout Jeremy Pilch again. The third score of the day for the duo, as Pilch took it in from 57-yards out.

Early in the 4th, with time winding in the face of the Panther lead, Noah Robidou chipped in an interception. The ball was center left and he ran directly into it, taking it back for a short return.

The Panthers next contest is against the Leslie Blackhawks. The storied rivalry game will be played in Leslie this Michigan, a short jaunt from Stockbridge High School.
