WALESKA, Ga. (MWSN) — The Reinhardt University women’s soccer team is set to kick off their highly anticipated 2024-25 season with a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers. After a strong showing last season with a 13-6-1 overall record and an impressive 12-1-1 mark in conference play, the Eagles are ready to soar higher this year under the guidance of their dedicated coaching staff.
The team’s journey begins with an exhibition match against the University of North Georgia on August 17 at Ken White Field. This pre-season clash will serve as a valuable opportunity for the squad to fine-tune their strategies and build team chemistry before diving into regular-season action.
The official season opener is slated for August 21, where the Eagles will host Cumberlands (KY) in Waleska. Following this, Reinhardt will face Life University at home on August 24, aiming to start their campaign with a strong home-field advantage.
Throughout the season, fans can look forward to a series of exciting home and away fixtures. Highlights include a September 7 conference showdown against St. Andrews (NC), a critical matchup with Bryan (TN) on September 11, and a challenging away game at Columbia (SC) on September 14.
