TECUMSEH, Mich. (MWSN) — As the 2024-25 high school football season approaches, the Tecumseh Indians are gearing up to improve upon their solid performance from last year. Finishing the 2023-24 season with an overall record of 5-5 and a league record of 2-3, Tecumseh showcased moments of brilliance but ultimately fell short in the playoffs. Despite a mixed bag of results, including a notable victory over Pinckney and a hard-fought loss to Jackson, the Indians are determined to build on their experiences and push further this season.
The upcoming schedule presents an exciting array of matchups, starting with a home game against Northwest on August 29. This non-league opener will set the tone for the season, providing an early test for Tecumseh’s revamped roster. Following this, the Indians will face off against Blissfield and travel to Jackson, marking the beginning of their league campaign.
The team will then host Adrian and travel to Pinckney and Chelsea, before returning home to play Ypsilanti. The season will conclude with three consecutive away games against Ithaca, Waverly, and a yet-to-be-decided opponent, offering Tecumseh a chance to prove their mettle on the road.
With a strong core of returning players and a commitment to refining their strategies, the Tecumseh Indians are poised to make waves in the Southeastern – White division. Fans can look forward to a season filled with competitive play and the potential for postseason success.
