The Adrian College Bulldogs, riding an 11 game winning streak, will host Trine University in the semifinal round of the NCHA Harris Cup playoffs. Puck drop will come at 7:05pm on Saturday inside of the Arrington Ice Arena.

Adrian is ranked no. 6 (with 189 points) by U.S. College Hockey Online and ranked no. 6 in the PairWise

Adrian, which remains sixth in the new U.S. College Hockey Online Division III national rankings, is the top overall seed in the NCHA Harris Cup playoffs after winning the Peters Cup for the first time since 2018 and their 11th conference championship in program history.

Adrian also has won five-straight NCHA-South crowns since the conference adopted divisional play for the start of the 2015-16 campaign. More importantly, Adrian has moved up a spot to no. 5 in the PairWise which is used to determine the field for the 2020 NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Championship.

Adrian is one of the hottest teams in the country with an 11-game winning streak that has produced 65 goals while limiting opponents to 26. The Bulldogs are 19-5-3 on the season, including a final conference record of 15-3-2. During the regular season, Adrian swept Trine on December 31st at home (8-1) and February 14-15 in Angola, Ind. (7-0, 8-1).

To get to this weekend, the Bulldogs swept NCHA-South no. 4 seed Aurora at home, 7-5 and 5-3, in the conference quarterfinals, while third-seeded Trine upended no. 2 Lake Forest on the road, winning 5-4 in overtime and losing 3-1 the next day before taking the minigame 1-0.
