NAPOLEON, Mich. (MWSN) — Following an impressive 9-2 record last season, the Napoleon Pirates are poised to continue their dominance in the Cascades East division as they kick off the 2024 high school football season. Last year’s campaign saw the Pirates clinch the top spot in their league with a perfect 5-0 record, bolstered by a high-powered offense that amassed 366 points and a stout defense that allowed just 207 points. Despite their success, the Pirates’ season ended in the playoffs against a formidable Lumen Christi Catholic team.
Looking ahead, the Pirates aim to build on their strong foundation and make an even deeper playoff run. Their season opener is set for August 29th at Onsted, where they will look to replicate last year’s thrilling 29-28 victory. With a well-balanced schedule that includes challenging league and non-league matchups, Napoleon is determined to showcase their growth and resilience on the field.
