The Dallas Cowboys offensive line will be without their blindside anchor for the remainder of this season. Head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters on Friday that the team’s starting left tackle Tyron Smith will miss the remainder of the 2020 season due to a neck injury that will require surgery.
This is a blow to the Cowboys offensive line. The franchise is already without starting right tackle La’el Collins for the remainder of the season due to a hip injury. Dallas has struggled over the last few seasons, and this will cast further doubt onto the management of the franchise, as they will struggle without their tackles.
