The National Football League and owners from around the league have been trying to expand the regular season for years now. This week the league finally accomplished that goal, as there will be a 17th game each season going forward.
Strangely, the decision wasn’t unanimous among owners. According to Seth Wickersham of ESPN, Bears chairman George H. McCaskey voted against the expansion. The full article is below.
