Adrian College Bulldogs head coach Craig Rainey, a 1989 graduate, has recorded his 700th career victory. 2021 is his 28th season as the head baseball coach at Adrian College.
Under Rainey’s leadership, Adrian’s baseball program has risen to national prominence and has become a perennial contender for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship.
Rainey has long been the winningest coach in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association history for baseball. This record and his continued winning ways have only extended that.
The Bulldogs had eight straight appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship from 2008 to 2015, going 265-100 and winning 72.6 percent of their games during that stretch.
Rainey and Adrian again have high expectations this season, and are likely to make another NCAA Tournament run fueled by their high powered roster. Find them on Twitter at Adrian Baseball or visit Adrian Bulldog’s website for more.
