The time for kickoff has arrived for Adrian College. After concluding the 2022 season with a 6-4 record, and winning half of their MIAA conference games, the Bulldogs are eager to elevate their performance this year.
The initial phase of the season will witness the Bulldogs navigating through four non-conference matches. They set the pace on September 2, by heading to Elmhurst University, in Illinois. After this external bout, Adrian will be welcoming spectators back home with successive games. The first, against Defiance College, is slated for September 9, followed by a face-off with Bluffton University a week later on September 16.
A significant highlight of the season will be the Homecoming Weekend, coinciding with the Bulldogs’ clash against Bluffton.
The non-conference showdowns culminate on September 23, with the Bulldogs traveling to confront Greenville University. MIAA skirmishes officially kick off on September 30, with Hope College trying their luck at Adrian’s stronghold. Following this, the Bulldogs will be hitting the road for consecutive league battles, challenging Trine University and then Kalamazoo College.
While October 21 offers the team a respite with a bye week, preparations will be in full swing for the subsequent home match against Albion College on Family Weekend, October 28. On November 4, Adrian will host the season’s last home game. On this day, not only will the Bulldogs lock horns with Alma College, but the graduating players will also be celebrated with a Senior Day ceremony.
The grand finale awaits at Olivet College, where the Bulldogs aim to seize a MIAA Championship, bringing glory back to Adrian.
