SPRING ARBOR, Mich. | saucougars.com | September 7th, 2025 — Spring Arbor University climbed three spots to No. 11 in the NAIA men’s soccer coaches’ Top 25 poll, the first regular-season rankings released Wednesday.
The Cougars have opened the year with four straight victories, each by shutout. Transfers Ian Lama and Alex Murphy have combined for five goals to pace the attack, while David Magalhaes has added a goal and three assists.
Spring Arbor is one of five Crossroads League programs in the poll, along with No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 10 Bethel and No. 16 Marian. Grace College also received votes.
Head coach Marco Bernardini’s squad (4-0-0) heads south this week for a pair of nonconference tests in Florida. The Cougars face No. 17 Keiser on Thursday, Sept. 4, before taking on St. Thomas on Saturday, Sept. 6.
