STOCKBRIDGE, Mich. (MWSN) — The Stockbridge TD Club has surpassed its initial fundraising goal, collecting over 100 donations. The funds will go towards essential equipment, uniforms, and team-building activities for the Stockbridge football and cheerleading programs.

The community’s support has been instrumental in the success of the program, which relies heavily on grassroots fundraising efforts and volunteer hours. The program, vital to the Stockbridge community, not only teaches football skills but also instills leadership qualities and values in young men. Head Coach Jeremy Killinger and his coaching staff dedicate countless hours to ensuring the program thrives.

Donations to the program can be made at this link, on a web platform called TeamFi: https://app.teamfi.works/donate/0a5591bfad1e

“We have replaced cheerleading uniforms, purchased 60 helmets, granted numerous scholarships, and provided valuable team-building opportunities,” said Killinger. “Future purchases will include replacing remaining helmets, shoulder pads, cheer training equipment, and more.”

The Stockbridge TD Club’s continued success reflects the importance of youth sports in building community and character, with the program ensuring all participants have the resources to compete and grow.
