MONTGOMERY, Alab. (MWSN) — The Reinhardt Eagles will travel to Montgomery, Alabama, to take on the Faulkner Eagles in a non-conference game on Saturday, September 7. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium.
Reinhardt (0-1) is coming off a tough season opener, falling 50-7 to NCAA Division II Carson Newman. Despite the lopsided score, Reinhardt’s lone touchdown came on a kickoff return by Tyress McKee, showcasing the team’s potential in special teams. Head coach James Miller will look to get his offense back on track after managing just 89 total yards in their opener.

Faulkner (0-1) also seeks redemption after a 34-0 shutout loss to Southeastern last Saturday. The Eagles struggled to generate offensive momentum, totaling just 87 yards in the loss, while Southeastern’s defense capitalized with a 56-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Both teams will be eager to claim their first win of the season as they aim to clean up mistakes from their respective openers.
