WALESKA, Ga. (MWSN) – As the 2024-25 men’s soccer season kicks off, the Reinhardt Eagles are poised for another thrilling year, building on the momentum from last season’s strong performance. The Eagles, who ended the 2023-24 season with an overall record of 9-5-5 and a conference record of 7-4-2, are determined to improve their standings and make a significant impact in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
The season opener on August 10th will see the Eagles take on Middle Georgia State at home, followed by an away game against Dalton State on August 17th. The schedule features a blend of home and away matches, including crucial conference games that will be pivotal in shaping their season.
Highlighted matches include home games against Southern Wesleyan on August 21st and Shorter University on August 31st. The conference clashes, such as the September 7th game against St. Andrews and the October 2nd game against Truett-McConnell, are expected to be fiercely contested.
This season, many of Reinhardt’s games will be broadcast live on the Southeast Sports Network (SESN), providing fans with extensive coverage and the opportunity to follow the Eagles’ journey throughout the season. SESN’s comprehensive coverage will ensure that supporters, both local and afar, won’t miss a moment of the action.
Last season, Reinhardt showcased their potential with standout victories, including a 6-2 win over Kentucky Christian and a 4-0 triumph against Pikeville. However, the season concluded with a narrow defeat in the AAC Tournament quarterfinals against Milligan.
This year, the Eagles aim to leverage their previous experiences and convert them into consistent performances. Key returning players, combined with new recruits, are set to elevate the team’s competitiveness and drive.
