Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has captured his seventh Lombardi Trophy. He is the only player in NFL history to win five Super Bowl MVP awards.

He won his fifth Super Bowl MVP nomination for his performance in Super Bowl LV tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs. Tampa bested the Chiefs in stunning fashion on their home field in Florida.

Brady is now the NFL leader in Super Bowl wins (7), appearances (11) and Super Bowl MVPs (5). The 21-year NFL veteran has also been named NFL MVP three times during his career, in 2007, 2010 and 2017.

Brady broke a tie with Joe Montana for the most Super Bowl MVP awards in NFL history when he earned his fourth following Super Bowl LI in 2017. The accolade made him the oldest player to ever win the Pete Rozelle Trophy.

Brady has thrown for 79,204 passing yards, 581 passing touchdowns, and completed 64% of all of his passes attempted throughout the duration of his NFL tenure. He played every season before this with New England.

Brady played college football at the University of Michigan. He was selected 199th overall by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Many say he is the greatest steal of all time.
