Baker Mayfield’s 2020 campaign has been less than ideal from an individual standpoint. The 2018 no. 1 overall pick is averaging a career-low 191.6 passing yards per game.
However, in spite of less than average number, Cleveland coaches are fine with it because Mayfield isn’t turning the ball over. And it doesn’t hurt that the Browns are currently a stellar 8-3.
Colin Cowherd is predicting that Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans is a make-or-break game for Mayfield, who could be benched if the Browns aren’t at least competitive against the franchise.
"The Browns will make a decision privately on the flight back. If Baker gets rolled like he did against Pittsburgh or Baltimore, they're moving off of him." @ColinCowherd on the importance of Sunday's game vs. Tennessee: pic.twitter.com/zBX13W1DbI
