Social media exploded after United State President Donald Trump proclaimed he would participate in a debate moderated by Joe Rogan. Tim Kennedy first suggested Joe Rogan would be willing to moderate a debate for the American public.
53-year-old Joe Rogan is an American comedian, podcast host, and mixed martial arts color commentator. He has also worked as a television host and an actor. He is most well known for being a podcaster who tries to approach political topics in an unbiased way with extremely high profile guests.
On my podcast with @joerogan he offered to moderate a debate between @JoeBiden and @realDonaldTrump It would be four hours with no live audience. Just the two candidates, cameras, and their vision of how to move this country forward. Who wants this? #debates #Election2020

Just so you know, Tim Kennedy is a retired American mixed martial artist. He fought as a professional from 2001 until 2016. Kennedy has fought in the UFC, Strikeforce, the WEC, ShoMMA, and HDNet Fights.
Trump responded on Twitter that he wants the Rogan debate. Biden has not responded to the inquiry. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that she does not want any debates.

Biden and Trump are scheduled to hold three debates in September and October, with moderators already announced. The first official presidential debate is set for September 29th in Cleveland, with Fox News anchor Chris Wallace moderating.
Kennedy listed off reasons for moving forward with the idea. “A long form debate with a neutral moderator, no fake audience reactions, no biased questions, neutral camera positions, no sound bite length responses. Just their respective policies explained to us.”
