The Coronavirus pandemic has emptied massive cityscapes across the United States. The list of metropolitan areas has been expanded to include Las Vegas.
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak called for a press conference on Tuesday and ordered all nonessential businesses, which of course includes casinos, to close for the next 30 days.

Casinos were given six hours after the time of the announcement to be completely shut down. By midnight Wednesday morning, all of them had been closed.
