The Adrian College Bulldogs, riding a 13 game winning streak, will host Hobart College in the opening round of the NCAA Ice Hockey National Championship. Puck drop will come at 7:05pm on Saturday inside of the Arrington Ice Arena in Adrian, Michigan.
Entering their tournament game on Saturday Adrian was no. 6 (with 209 points) in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll and was no. 5 in the PairWise.
Adrian College program crested 300 total victories since their founding in 2007-08 with the win. It also extended their winning streak this season to 13 total games.
Hobart College was shutout by Norwich 3-0 in the New England Hockey Conference Championship game at Kreitzberg Arena this weekend. The Statesmen are 20-5-3.
Norwich, who is ranked first in the USCHO.com Poll and second in the PairWise rankings, earned an automatic-bid into the 12-team NCAA tournament. Hobart had to wait until Monday to find out if they would receive one of the four at-large bids into the field.

3-2 was the final score for AC over visiting St. Norbert to give the Bulldogs their first Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup title since 2016 and the eighth conference tournament championship in team history. The Bulldogs enter the tournament 21-5-3 on the season.
Adrian College has scored a whopping 144 goals on the season. That’s good for a 4.97 goal per game average, as they have totaled 257 assists in that span as well.
At home Adrian is 12-3-2. A statistic that bodes well for them, as Hobart is 7-4-1 on the road this year. The Statesmen have scored 114 goals while only allowing 63. Something the Bulldogs will be well aware of coming into the matchup.

You can watch the game live online on Adrian College Television or listen on your radio dial in Lenawee County on 107.9 WVAC-FM. You can also listen online if you’re unable to watch by visiting wvac.adrian.edu. MWSN has been informed the game will likely be broadcast on 96.5 CAVE-FM as well.
