Hard News Interesting Trending

Dog the Bounty Hunter says that the search for Brian Laundrie is becoming more dangerous, according to the Associated Press. Laundrie went missing after he returned home alone from a trip with his fiance Gabby Petito.

Petito’s remains were found in Wyoming last month. Dog the Bounty Hunter, or Duane Chapman, has been spearheading a high-profile search for the 24-year-old throughout Florida, which is where he was last seen.

Dog and his team are being aided by law enforcement, and a K-9 unit, according to ABC News. Fox News reports that they continue to search islands near Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County, Florida.

“The longer he is on the run, the more dangerous this becomes,” said a spokesperson

Law enforcement officials have been searching for Laundrie since his family reported him missing on September 17th. A spokesperson from Dog’s team told the Associated Press that they “are continuing to search for Brian Laundrie.”

Dog the Bounty Hunter has also confirmed on Sunday night that evidence has been provided to authorities with the hope that DNA testing proves Laundrie’s presence in the area of the search, according to the AP.

Duane Chapman has even added his own money towards the reward for any information leading to Laundrie’s arrest. His addition brings the total reward up to $180,000, according to ABC News.

Chapman has an anonymous tip line available for anyone who does not want to speak to the authorities at 833-TELL-DOG. Anyone with information on Laundrie’s whereabouts can contact the FBI directly at 1-800-CALL-FBI or 303-629-7171.
